The 2017 NSW State Doubles were again held at Club Marconi. 14 teams turned up for a great day of snooker, and a state title on offer. Club Marconi is one of our major venues for billiards & snooker and the snooker club contribute more than a lot to our sport, particularly Jim Ruisi and Vic Sacco, their ongoing support is extremely valuable.

This year’s NSW Women’s State titles were again held at MINGARA RECREATION CLUB over the weekend of 16-17 September. Kathy Parashis defeated Megan Fullerton (3-2) in the final to win her 10th State Snooker title.

This year’s Championships were again held at Club Marconi, on the 12th & 13th Aug, the club has fantastic facilities and one of the best Snooker Rooms in Sydney. Live streaming was done over the two days and the quality of the stream and the snooker was excellent.

Congratulations to Michael Pearson on winning his fifth NSW Billiards Championship and joining an elite club to achieve that milestone. Michael took out the three hour final 761-613 over 13 times NSW champion Joe Minici.

The venue was very well prepared and all those involved from Mingara Snooker & Billiards Club and Central Coast District Billiards & Snooker Assoc were most welcoming and a great ambassadors for the club.
